 Allied Siding and Windows was one of four bidders on this whole-house update project. The old siding was rotted in many places and battered on the side of the garage. All the soffit and fascia needed to be replaced and the homeowner wanted to "raise the roof" in the front porch/entry. The original home included stucco on much of the front of the home and garage. This was replaced with Hardipanel (Sierra 8). Allied's bid was the lowest of the four and was the most comprehensive.

Front of the Home
The front of the home was originally done in stucco. The homeowner wanted a similar look, but without the relief of stucco. So Allied suggested a Sierra 8 Hardipanel for this area. (James Hardie also offers a stucco-like Hardipanel.)

Front/Side of the Home
In this view, you can see the excellent trim work round the side window and the siding finish along the roof line. You can also see the original soffit and vent system that was part of the original construction. Allied replaced the soffit with fully ventilated Hardisoffit. This application allows for better ventilation.

Front Entry
This 1980's era home had a low entry. The false roof area above allowed Allied to vault this entry to give a grand feeling at the entry to the home.

Garage Door
The area around the newly replaced garage door also showed significant rotting. Hardiplank and Harditrim replacement gave the area a great new look.

Rotted Paneling on Back of Garage
The Houston humidity had taken its toll on the back of the garage in this home. Fortunately, no stud work was needed to clean this area up. But Allied's estimate included a contingency for replacing rotted studs as needed.

Cleanup - Attention To Details
This composite photo shows the crew replacing wiring, fixtures, and doing spot checking on the painting job. The crew was always courteous and cleaned up after work each day.
